Ilana has the remainder of the week off, so we've planned a small road trip down into Oregon. My cell should work in most areas, so if it's urgent try that. Otherwise I'll be back in a few days bearing many photos and I'm sure a souvenir or two.

About 8hrs of downtime yesterday, thanks apparently to someone running something they shouldn't have on my web hosts server. Lovely.

I will be away for a few days down in sunny, humid Florida and won't really be contactable during this time, unless I can find a wireless connection somewhere. Stay tuned for some photos upon my return.

I noticed earlier this afternoon that _everything_ was down, not just my site but my host was unreachable. I'm not sure how long it was for, and I'm trying to find out details from my host as to why. If you sent me email today, please send it again. My apologies for any inconvenience.

So after a very extended period the new and improved alexhand.com has been released! I hope to keep this one updated more frequently and it has been designed with this in mind. I've made many changes from my previous site, some things will not be carried over, and I've introduced some new features. I realise the site is not perfect, but it is an improvement on what there was, and somewhere down the track I hope to further improve things with v3.

The best way to keep up to date with what I'm doing is to check my blog. I do keep this updated very regularly.

In an effort to actually get the site up, there are some components that have not yet been fully fleshed out. I will be doing this in the coming weeks, and will post updates here as this happens.

In the meantime, please enjoy what is available.
