We went on a boat cruise on the
Thames for New Years Eve. The boat departed near the Houses of Parliament
and travelled out past Greenwich before returning for midnight. Being used
to Brisbane's lavish fireworks extravaganzas I was bitterly disappointed when
I learnt that London doesn't have official fireworks at all!
